Pysical Security Audit Fee $1,500

This program has been designed to assess the “physical security” of any school building.

The Audit results in a report outlining the current state of all physical characteristics of any elementary, middle or high school. We can also conduct the physical security audit on the district administrative operations, whether in a stand alone location or contained in one of the schools or in some other municipal setting. The Audit also provides recommendations for remediation of any and all security deficiencies.

These are some of the items examined during the audit.

• All building hardware, locks, doors, mechanical features.
• A special focus is placed on all student entrances.
• All electronic security systems, including CCTV, intrusion, access control, duress, emergency communication systems, and all other systems.
• All exterior building conditions, including loading docks, service entrances, roof access, and mechanical spaces.
• Exterior and parking lot lighting features and conditions.
• Classroom and other student spaces
• School offices
• Athletic facilities, including fields, and other practice/play venues
• Fencing and other barriers
• Signage
• Intercom and public address systems

Usually performed in our one day visit, SSI Programs will provide the District with a confidential report which will include the following critical review items.

• Current state of all the building’s security vulnerabilities.
• Recommendations to address any building deficiencies.
• Confidential notification of any dangerous or hazardous conditions.
