On July 1, 2018, the Commissioner issued a directive requiring all school districts in New York update their safety plans, safety committees and document this effort by submitting all updated plans to the Department in the appropriate format. This new procedure is a yearly requirement for all districts.
SSI Programs has created this program to ensure that your district is in full compliance with this directive and to confirm that all your buildings and safety requirements are in fact up to date and available to parents, staff, and the community.
Here are the items we will check during our audit.
At the conclusion of our audit, SSI Programs will provide an “audit letter” to the district.
Our audit letter is the district’s confirmation by third party that the district is in full compliance with this critical safety program.
