Protecting Houses of Worship

The Challenge of Safety for Faith Based Organizations

Perhaps our most vulnerable population is those who choose to worship in a church, a synagogue, a mosque, or some other sanctuary.

Too often we have witnessed random acts of violence perpetrated upon these venerable institutions resulting in death, injury and the destruction of our most sacred of places.

SSI Programs has been working with faith based organizations for more than thirty years on issues relating to safety and security.

We have developed several programs which will help you relieve the anxiety felt by many in your congregation over the safety of themselves and members of their family.

Here are some of the services we off to houses of worship:

  • Security Assessments of your Worship Space
  • Training and Development of Your Congregation Safety Team
  • Physical Security Recommendations
  • Consultation on Confidential Security Issues
  • Emergency Training for your Staff
  • Law Enforcement Liaison and Planning

We also can assist you in the application and funding process for funds available through the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for eligible programs for equipment, facility hardening and security services.

Please contact us or call (914) 632-5959 for a confidential consultation.
