District Security Assessment Fee $2,500

This program has been designed to allow school districts to obtain an affordable yet complete evaluation of the safety and security of its buildings and programs.

Our consulting team will provide a report on the Three "P's "of school safety, namely,

  • Physical- Entry's, hardware, electronics, lighting, windows, doors, etc.
  • Procedural- Policies, procedures, regulations, documentation, reports, etc related to school safety and security.
  • Personnel-Staffing, duties, training, responsibilities, and SED compliance.

Usually performed in our one-two day visit, SSI Programs will provide the District with a confidential report which will include the following critical review items.

  • Current state of all district security vulnerabilities
  • Evaluation of all District electronic security systems, including, intrusion, CCTV, duress, access, fire and emergency communication systems.
  • Report on staffing levels and functions regarding safety and security including staffing roles in the emergency protocols.
  • District compliance with all SED regulations pertaining to safety and security.
  • A building report on hardware and physical security features with remediation recommendations which may involve operational or capital budget considerations.
  • A report on the current emergency notification equipment and procedures currently in place to notify students, staff, parents and the community of any emergencies in the District

The District Security Assessment will result in a comprehensive report detailing all findings and observations. In all areas of concern recommendations for remediation of these issues will be made. Wherever possible SSI Programs will furnish rough estimates for any improvements or new equipment and/or systems.
